What "registered" actually

Real accountability

As a registered NDIS provider (No. 4050026668) we're audited against the NDIS Practice Standards, accountable to the NDIS Code of Conduct, and able to support all plan types - including NDIA-managed participants that unregistered platforms can't serve. Our information security is ISO 27001 certified and we're a Child Safe Organisation.

Workers who are employees, not gig contractors

Every support worker is employed by Humdrum under the SCHADS award - screened (NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR), insured, trained and supported. If something ever goes wrong, there's a registered provider responsible - not a contractor and an app that shrugs.

A local team, not a call centre

Our service team works from 123 South Street, Beaconsfield - with clinical and safety staff trained in trauma-informed practice. Reach us by phone on 08 6500 0256, by email, or in person, and we'll step in whenever you need backup.

Are you NDIS registered?

Yes, Humdrum is a registered NDIS provider. We adhere to a high standard of care and ensure your support remains compliant and up to date.

Can NDIS funding be used for Humdrum support workers?

NDIS participants can use their plan funding for Humdrum support workers where the support is reasonable and necessary, related to their goals, and falls within the relevant support categories in their plan.

Humdrum support workers can assist with everyday living, getting out into the community, transport, personal care, household tasks, skill building and other disability-related support needs.

The exact funding pathway will depend on the participant’s plan, goals, management type and available budget. Humdrum’s team can help participants and families understand how the service may fit within their NDIS plan.

What services do you provide?

Support Work. Humdrum specialises in delivering support work under the NDIS, including, social and community participation, personal care, Daily Activities, Help around the home, transport, skill building and complex care.

What’s your pricing?

Cheap, Humdrum allows participants to set the hourly rate for each of their team members between the Minimum award and the max NDIS cap.

Can you support complex care and restricted practices?

Yes. Humdrum has a dedicated safety team that can assist you to onboard, ensure workers are up.

How long does it take to get started?

You can get set up in a day if you're in a rush, however, feel free to take your time andour team will be in touch.

How do I know if Humdrum would be a good fit for me?

You are an NDIS participant, nominee, parent, guardian or support coordinator looking for morecontrol over support worker choice.

You want the flexibility of choosing your team, setting schedules and agreeing rates, while still having a registered provider behind the service.

You are self-managed, plan-managed or agency-managed and want disability support that feels less clinical and more human.

You need support with daily living, personal care, transport, social participation, help at home, skill building or complex support needs.

What's the difference between a registered and unregistered NDIS provider?

Registered NDIS providers like Humdrum are approved and audited by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission against the NDIS Practice Standards, and are accountable to the NDIS Code of Conduct.

If your plan is NDIA-managed, you can generally only use registered providers - and registration also covers things like supporting restrictive practices safely. Humdrum's registration number is 4050026668, and you can verify it on the NDIS Commission's public register.

How do I switch my NDIS provider to Humdrum?

Check your current provider's notice period (it's in your service agreement), then get in touch with us - we'll help you time the change so there's no gap in your support.

Joining Humdrum is free, and if there are support workers you want to keep from your current arrangement, we may be able to employ them so they come with you.
